To charge the existing battery, you must either disconnect it and charge directly on the terminals, or the recommended way is to connect the charger to the + and - posts provided in the engine bay. Nov 24, 2010 · Just happens that there was an outstanding recall for the rear wash wipe. It stopped working a few months ago, so booked it in with Audi. Turns out the water pipe had split, leaking into the consoles on the left of the boot. They all needed replacing at a cost of £1,000, but Audi paid for the lot without question. Its a 2005 A6 avant (C6)
